Israel's Keshet Media Group to Host TV Conflab in Jerusalem
High profile speakers enlisted for the inaugural two day event in November include WME's Ari Emanuel, Warner Bros.' Josh Berger and ITV digital chief Angela Jain.
LONDON – Israel's Keshet Media Group said Friday it has lined up a host of high profile speakers including WME co-CEO Ari Emanuel, U.K. commercial broadcaster ITV's director of digital channels Angela Jain and Warner Bros. Entertainment U.K. president Josh Berger for is inaugural international TV conference.
To be staged in Jerusalem in November, the conference aims to focus on innovation in television.
Keshet has a strong reputation for introducing television format shows to the market including Showtime's Homeland which is based on Keshet's original program Hatufim.
Other speakers booked for INTV include Dave Gordon, head of major events, BBC Sport, Lars Blomgren, Filmlance International managing director and Revision 3 CEO Jim Louderback.
INTV is set to run Nov. 11 and 12.
It will be hosted at the JVP Media Quarter, a hub for entrepreneurship and innovation
The conference aims to address the changes that has taken place within the global TV industry over the last few years: with viewers taking centre stage, new online outlets emerging, as well as integrated social media, interactive services and new business models.
"We hope that INTV will provide a platform for creators, media executives and colleagues to showcase global innovation and creativity in television," said Keshet Media Group CEO Avi Nir said.
"With Israel and indeed Keshet now eminent players in the global formats market, we hope to provide a stage for the present and future architects of international television to convene."
