Ex-ITV Studios Executive to Lead Zodiak Kids
Jean-Philippe Randisi, a former executive with ITV Studios Global Entertainment, will run the new division at French group Zodiak Media.
Jean-Philippe Randisi, a former executive with ITV Studios Global Entertainment, has been named to the newly created post of CEO at Zodiak Kids, a division of French television production giant Zodiak Media.
Randisi is charged with running Zodiak's dedicated kids division, which includes three production companies: France's Marathon Media and Tele images and British-based The Foundation.
Among the group's productions are Cartoon Network's animated series Totally Spies!, produced by Marathon, and The Foundation's upcoming preschool show The Floogals, which will go out on U.S. cable channel Sprout.
At ITV Studios, Randisi was most recently executive vp and director of consumer products and was responsible for the company's reboot of its Thunderbirds kids franchise. The new animated series Thunderbirds Are Go! is currently in production.
Before joining ITV, he was a senior vp at Nickelodeon and Viacom Consumer Products, where he handled properties such as SpongeBob Square Pants and Dora the Explorer.
Randisi will be based in London and report directly to Zodiak group CEO Marc-Antoine d'Halluin.
