A memorial for actor Jack Larson, who played Jimmy Olsen on the 1950s television series Adventures of Superman, will be held Dec. 6 on the UCLA campus in Westwood.

It will take place starting at 5 p.m. at the James Bridges Theater in the school's Department of Film, Television and Digital Media building on the north end of the campus. The venue is named in honor of Larson’s late partner, the writer and director James Bridges.

He and Bridges met when they were supporting players in the cast of the 1957 film Johnny Trouble. They later formed a production company, and Larson produced such Bridges' films as The Baby Maker (1970), Mike’s Murder (1984), Perfect (1985) and Bright Lights, Big City (1988).

Larson died Sept. 20 at his home in Brentwood. He was 87.
