Jack Osbourne's wife Lisa Stelly revealed Friday morning that she suffered a miscarriage.
"I have been dreading this announcement…. I needed some time before being able to say it," wrote the 26-year-old model. " Jack and I lost our baby boy last week."
Stelly continued, "Having a late term miscarriage is by far the hardest thing either of us have ever had to go through. We appreciate all of your prayers and ask for privacy and respect during this time. It’s important to stay hopeful and optimistic through life’s toughest moments. We never know why things like this happen. All we can do is trust in God and know he has a plan for our lives."
Shortly after the announcement, Stelly thanked her followers on Twitter for "all the love & support. It means the world."
The couple currently have a daughter named Pearl Clementine, who was born in April 2012.
Osbourne who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2012, was confirmed as part of the Dancing With the Stars cast for season 17, which begins Sept. 16. The reality star will be joined by Leah Remini, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Valerie Harper and Cheryl Burke, who will be his dancing partner.
