Jaman, Cinetic Rights ink partnership

Deal expands Jaman's catalog to more than 7,000 titles

LONDON -- Online film hub Jaman has partnered with Cinetic Rights Management to secure Cinetic content for its Web users.

The deal expands Jaman's catalog to more than 7,000 films and includes Cinetic titles such as Michael Gilio's "Kwik Stop" and documentary "We Are Wizards," which profiles the underground Harry Potter community that pays homage to J.K. Rowling's characters and stories.

Other titles include Paul Todisco's "One Day Like Rain," a film nominated for the jury prize at the Seattle International Film Festival.

"Jaman's collaboration with Cinetic solidifies our commitment to provide compelling content to the independent film community," Jaman managing director David Fischer said. "Through partnerships like this one, Jaman aggressively expands our library with award-winning movies that are loved by our audience of film aficionados."

CRM head of programming Matt Dentler said: "Through Jaman's innovative platform we are able to effectively expand our global reach by delivering compelling films to independent film fans worldwide."

Other current content providers for Jaman include BFI, Paramount Pictures, Lionsgate, Eros International, Magnolia Pictures, Trust Films, First Look Films, Arts Alliance America and BBC Worldwide America.
