Blairwood will premiere a number of independent feature films at the festival, including Burma: A Human Tragedy, a documentary narrated and executive produced by Anjelica Huston about that country's ongoing genocide. The film includes interviews with refugees, survivors and Burma's president, Aung San Suu Kyi, and will screen at Le Palais J on May 14.
The company will also premiere City of Gardens, starring John Robinson and Alex Meraz; Fix: The Extreme Ministry Movie, featuring live performances by the industrial rock band Ministry; the romantic musical Leading Ladies; the drama Apocalypse (According to Doris); the indie thriller Mind Tricks; and the Spanish-language action film Elite.
Dudelson co-founded the distribution company Film Gallery in the 1980s, before becoming the executive vp theatrical and non-theatrical distribution with Fries Entertainment, and the president/CEO of Taurus.
