Jamie Stevens Joins Sony Pictures as Consumer Products Exec
The former NBCUniversal exec will oversee consumer products and licensing for franchises like 'Ghostbusters' and 'Smurfs.'
Jamie Stevens is joining the Sony Pictures Motion Picture Group as executive vp, worldwide consumer products.
Stevens, who comes to Sony from NBCUniversal, where she served as executive vp, global retailing marketing and developing, will report to worldwide marketing and distribution president Josh Greenstein, who on Tuesday announced her appointment.
Stevens, who will take up her new post June 6, will oversee the motion picture group’s global consumer products and licensing team with an eye toward capitalizing on product and licensing opportunities for such franchises as Ghostbusters, Jump Street, Hotel Transylvania and Smurfs.
“Growing our consumer products business is a major initiative, and Jamie is the perfect talent to help us take advantage of our huge potential in the marketplace,” Greenstein said in announcing the appointment.
