Jane Lynch to Divorce Wife
The "Glee" actress says ending her marriage to Lara Embry was a "difficult decision for us, as we care deeply about one another."
Jane Lynch is divorcing her wife, Dr. Lara Embry, after three years of marriage.
"Lara and I have decided to end our marriage," the Glee actress said in a statement, via People magazine. "This has been a difficult decision for us, as we care very deeply about one another. We ask for privacy as we deal with this family matter."
A rep for Lynch did not immediately respond to THR's request for comment.
Lynch and Embry were married Memorial Day 2010 in Massachusetts. The 52-year-old actress met Embry, 49, a clinical psychologist, at a San Francisco fundraiser the year before.
Lynch, an Emmy winner for her role as the deceptively diabolical Sue Sylvester on Fox's Glee, can now be seen making her Broadway debut as Miss Hannigan in the revival of Annie.
