Japanese quartet set for Toronto
Films will have N. American, world premieres at festTOKYO -- Four Japanese films will screen at this year's Toronto International Film Festival, including two international premieres and a pair of North America debuts, organizers said Thursday.
"Still Walking Hirokazu" will make its international debut and be showcased as a special presentation. "All Around Us" by Ryosuke Hashiguchi also will have its international premiere in Toronto.
Mamuro Oishii's "The Skycrawlers" and Takeshi Kitano's "Achilles and the Tortoise" will both be screened for the first time in North America.
The four are among more than 300 films slated to be shown in Toronto, which runs Sept. 4-13.
