Jared Leto is in a buyer's mood.
The Oscar-winning Dallas Buyers Club actor has purchased a Hollywood Hills West home for $5 million, the Los Angeles Times reports.
The 1.5-acre property, which dates from the 1940s and was once part of an Air Force station, comprises eight bedrooms and 12 bathrooms.
The 50,000 square-foot pad includes such amenities as a movie theater, swimming pool, art galleries and an expansive motor court. The estate last sold in 1994 for $750,000.
Leto, 43, has acted only intermittently in recent years, due to commitments to band 30 Seconds to Mars. However, he is planning to return in earnest to the craft, having booked a role as the Joker in 2016's Suicide Squad.
