Jay Mohr Back to Host NHL Awards for Versus

Hollywood actor/comic returns to emcee 2011 NHL Awards as the pro league combines Hollywood and hockey to reach out to its North American fan base.

TORONTO -- Actor/comic Jay Mohr is to host The 2011 NHL Awards from Las Vegas for the second year in the row, the pro hockey league said Monday.

Also asked back is 2010 NHL Awards executive producer David Broome, who will produce the 2011 edition of the hockey awards show from the Palms Hotel on June 22.

The 2011 NHL Awards, to follow the ongoing Stanley Cup championship round, will air on Versus in the U.S. and on the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. in Canada.

The NHL will make additional announcements on celebrity presenting duties at the upcoming awards show as the league combines Hollywood and hockey to reach out to its North American fan base.
