Jay-Z, Kanye West Hint at 'Watch the Throne' Follow Up
The hip-hop heavyweights look to the future as their North American tour is slated to wrap on Dec. 18.
There may be more where Watch the Throne came from.
As Jay-Z and Kanye West near the end of their North American tour, the duo look ahead and tease fans with a potential Watch the Throne follow up.

“ We – I say ‘we’ because I’m in Throne mode – we’re in a great place creatively,” Jay told MTV News. “You might see a Jay, then Kanye and a Throne album next year. You know, we’re really in a great place creatively. We really found our zone.”
The duo, who collectively refer to themselves as “The Throne,” will perform the last of a three-night stint at the Los Angeles Staples Center on Dec. 13. In The Hollywood Reporter’s review of the Sunday, Dec. 11th show, Jeff Miller said, “It wasn’t just energy, though, that made this concert an event. Thanks to a monster light show, a slew of irrepressible, hard-hitting groves, and (most importantly) a crazy-charming bromance that clearly demonstrates that these two are enjoying their unprecedented run at the top of the charts as much as their fans enjoy their over-the top, blow-the-roof-off-the arena live show.”

The tour will next hit San Jose and Tacoma before wrapping in Vancouver on Dec. 18.
Earlier this month, West acknowledged a possible sophomore effort for The Throne while performing in Chicago.
“Don’t worry, because me and Hov gon’ keep on making shit,” he told the audience.
West leads the nominees for the 54th annual Grammy Awards with seven nominations between Throne and his solo My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Jay received three nominations. The awards will be doled out on Feb. 12 and broadcast live on CBS.
