Jennifer Aniston in Talks for 'Mean Moms'

 

Jennifer Aniston is in early talks to star in Mean Moms, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

Beth McCarthy-Miller will helm the New Line Cinema project, an adaptation of Rosalind Wiseman's book Queen Bee Moms and King Pin Dads: Dealing With the Parents, Teachers, Coaches, and Counselors Who Can Make — or Break — Your Child’s Future, which follows a mom who is forced to deal with some grown-up "mean girls" in her suburban neighborhood.

Wiseman also penned Queen Bees and Wannabes, the book that inspired the successful comedy Mean Girls.

McCarthy-Miller has directed a slew of TV comedies, including episodes of Modern Family, The Mindy Project and 30 Rock.

Producers on the project are Adam Shankman and Jennifer Gibgot via Offspring Entertainment.

Aniston starred in 2013 breakout comedy We're the Millers, and will next be seen in Squirrels to the Nuts and Horrible Bosses 2. She's repped by CAA and  Brillstein Entertainment Partners.
