Jennifer Garner, Jamie Lee Curtis Headlining 'Pink Party' Fundraiser

Elyse Walker's annual event raises funds for Cedars-Sinai Women's Cancer Program.
On Sept. 10, Drai’s will be pretty in pink.
That’s when the seventh annual Pink Party takes place, created by fashionista Elyse Walker in 2005 to help fund the Cedars-Sinai Women’s Cancer Program.
The idea is to do a runway show/party, this year hosted by Jennifer Garner, as a way to make a fundraiser a little more interesting. The “pink” part of the name comes with the color associated with women’s cancers and every year a sizeable percentage guests — including some fashion-adventurous men — can be found wearing the hue at the affair.
Jamie Lee Curtis, who hosts the live auction, says she supports the event because “the spirit is unique. I’m not a style person, but it’s fun to see how people develop the theme. Try though I might, I fail miserably at being a style-y girl.”
In the past seven years, roughly $6 million has been raised.
