'Hunger Games' Star Jennifer Lawrence to Announce Academy Awards Nominations
Jennifer Lawrence has been tapped to present the 84th annual Oscar nominations along with Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences president Tom Sherak on Tuesday, Jan. 24, it was announced Monday.

The Hunger Games star, who was nominated for a best actress Academy Award last year for her performance in Winter's Bone, will reveal the nominees in 10 of the Academy's 24 categories at 5:30 a.m. PST at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills.

The awards ceremony will be broadcast on ABC Sunday, Feb. 26 at the Kodak Theatre.
Lawrence, who stars as Katniss Everdeen in Hunger Games, opening March 23, will also appear in the horror film House at the End of the Street and David O. Russell's The Silver Lining's Playbook this year.
