Jennifer Lawrence, John Oliver and Jimmy Fallon Play "True Confessions"
The actress admits she took an Ambien before filming a scene in 'The Hunger Games,' but is she lying?
Jennifer Lawrence and John Oliver joined Jimmy Fallon for a game of "True Confessions" on Monday's Tonight Show.
The three players each had two envelopes, one with a lie and one with a true story, and they took turns reading one of the confessions in the envelopes while the other two players interrogated them to determine whether or not they were lying.
Lawrence started the game by saying,"I once took an Ambien before filming a scene in The Hunger Games." Fallon asked if she was sleeping in the scene and Lawrence answered that she was actually dancing. "I thought it was something else, that was, like, normal to take," said Lawrence, further explaining what happened.
Oliver asked if this was going to cause legal problems for her with the studio. "Um, the movies are done," said Lawrence as Oliver laughed and said that's not how the law works. "It's all about Star Wars now," responded Lawrence, laughing.
Fallon's confession was about him writing a song called "Am I Doing It Wrong," and offering it up to Paul McCartney, free of charge. Oliver's confession had him working in the kitchen at Buckingham Palace and making a feta cheese omelet for the queen. Watch below to see who was lying and who was telling the truth.
While Lawrence was visiting Fallon, she also talked about the time she told an international press room that Kim Basinger was dead, and revealed that her nephew doesn't believe she's a real member of the X-Men, despite her having starred in three movies about the mutant superheroes, including the latest , X-Men: Apocalypse, which hits theaters Friday.
