AMAs 2011: Chris Brown Grooves to Rihanna Song While Jennifer Lopez Celebrates Win at After-Party
UPDATED: The "American Music Awards" Favorite Latin Artist winner, along with team members, friends and fellow artists, partied late into the night at West Hollywood hotspot Greystone Manor.
Perhaps one of the more genuinely heartfelt moments of the 2011 American Music Awards came when Jennifer Lopez won Favorite Latin Music Artist (her second time nabbing the honor) and thanked her longtime manager Benny Medina. “Love you… My creative soul-mate, my everything, my soldier on the front line,” the singer said from the stage.
So it was only fitting that the two would celebrate in equal measure later on Sunday night. The place: Greystone Manor Supperclub in West Hollywood, the latest late-night hotspot from the ever expanding SBE Empire.

There, Lopez and Medina held court and entertained industry pals such as Epic Records chairman and X Factor judge L.A. Reid, who supervised the release of Lopez’s Love? when he was running Island Def Jam, Justin Bieber manager Scooter Braun, attorney Aaron Rosenberg, Cougar Town co-producer Danny Rose, American Idol talent booker Steve Schillaci, Jimmy Kimmel Live music booker Scott Igoe and various IDJ executives.
Nearby, Lady Antebellum’s Charles Kelley, Lance Bass and Chaka Khan mingled while Chris Brown put his moves on display -- climbing atop a banquet and grooving to the sound of ex-girlfriend Rihanna’s voice on the Kanye West track “All of the Lights.” At one point, he even sang along to the chorus. Although wearing sunglasses, Brown’s bleach-blond hair made him instantly spottable from any corner of the club, and especially so when Drake's "Fancy" and West's "Power" played.

Things kicked up a notch after midnight when a gaggle of barely-dressed men marched across the floor carrying sparklers and a replica of the AMA crystal triangle. The tune playing? Lopez’s “On the Floor,” ‘natch, and in her uncontainable excitement, the superstar nudged her manager to join in the groove.
The after-party was sponsored by Fiat, Lopez’s corporate partner-turned-stage prop, and was one of several post-AMA events in Hollywood on Sunday. LMFAO celebrated their night at Playhouse Hollywood, where at one point Redfoo stripped down to his underwear, according to observers. AMAs presenters such as Adam Lambert and Matthew Morrison headed to the CIROC and Lady Foot Locker-sponsored Rolling Stone party at RSLA and Interscope head Jimmy Iovine was slated to host his own small soiree at the Sunset Marquis Hotel. The official AMAs post-party was held in a tent adjacent to downtown's Nokia Theater. Attendees included Bill Maher, Gavin Degraw and Robin Thicke.
