Jeremy Kyle Talk Show Cleared in 70% of U.S. Market
The one-hour daily talker will be an American version of the Brit's ITV1 show in the British market.
Lionsgate subsidiary Debmar-Mercury and ITV Studios America have cleared a daily talker hosted by Britain’s Jeremy Kyle in just over 70% of the U.S. market.
The one-hour daily talk show, a American version of Kyle’s daytime yakker on ITV1 in the British market, has been given a go-ahead for the 2011-11 season on stations belonging to Fox, Sinclair, CBS and Hearst, among other U.S. station groups.
The greenlight was given by Debmar-Mercury co-presidents Mort Marcus and Ira Bernstein, who have teamed with ITV Studios America, led by president-CEO Paul Buccieri.
