Former Alcon Entertainment VP Jesse Israel Joins Ineffable Pictures (Exclusive)

Updated: The production company behind the upcoming film adaptation of New York Times Bestselling YA novel, "Tiger's Curse," adds the new SVP of Production.
Ineffable Pictures, the company founded by producer Raphael Kryszek (Writer's Draft, Fox Legacy with Tom Rothman), is expanding and has made a new executive hire. Formerly of Alcon Entertainment, Jesse Israel has joined Ineffable Pictures as its Senior Vice President of Production starting on Monday.

In his four and a half years at Alcon Entertainment, Israel worked on the development of film projects, including The Blind Side, The Book of Eli, Lottery Ticket, Dolphin Tale, and The Sisterhood of The Traveling Pants 2. He is currently producing a variety of projects, including The Late Bloomer and Empty Nesters for Alcon, and Aaron & Sara AKA B.F.F.
Israel is a graduate of the Peter Stark producing program at the University of Southern California. And before moving to Los Angeles he was a producer for Dateline NBC in New York.
Last year, THR reported that Ineffable Pictures acquired the film option to New York Times Bestselling young adult novel, Tiger’s Curse by Colleen Hauck. Paramount Pictures acquired the screen rights to Tiger's Curse in December and Mary Parent will produce through her Disruption Entertainment banner with Ineffable’s Kryszek.
Note: This article has been updated to more accurately reflect Israel's duties while working with Alcon Entertainment.
