The website FMyLife.com is dedicated to sharing personal stories of misery and mishaps.

Jimmy Fallon, naturally, figured it a well of humor.

The Tonight Show host and actor Ethan Hawke teamed up to bring those troubling tales to life with a country twist.

One little ditty goes like this: “Today, I was washing my hands in the bathroom, looked up and saw a spider on my cheek. Slapped myself in the face as hard as I could to kill it. It turns out the spider was on the mirror.”

Schadenfreude never felt so good.
