Jimmy Kimmel plans to use the latest technology for a special CMA Awards-themed Jimmy Kimmel Live!, airing after the annual country music awards show on Nov. 5.

Kimmel will project a hologram of himself to the CMA Awards audience in Nashville's CMA Theater at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, who will remain in the theater following the ceremony, while delivering the late-night monologue from his Hollywood studio.

Hologram USA will provide the high-tech services.

Kimmel's first guest will be seated in his Hollywood studio; his second guest will be a CMA Award winner in Nashville, whom Kimmel will interview via hologram.

The show will feature a musical performance by Florida Georgia Line that will be sent via hologram to Jimmy Kimmel Live!'s outdoor concert stage in Hollywood for his studio audience.

Also scheduled to perform at the awards show are nominees Tim McGraw, Faith Hill and Brad Paisley.
