Jon Hamm, Emma Stone to host 'SNL'
Both actors have movies opening wide FridayJon Hamm will host "Saturday Night Live" for the third time, he announced on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" Thursday night.
A day earlier, "Easy A" star Emma Stone confirmed on "Fallon" that she would be taking the stage Oct. 23.
The "Mad Men" star -- who also headlines "The Town," out now -- will appear on the NBC sketch comedy Oct. 30.
Despite reports that Lindsay Lohan would host Dec. 4, she will not be appearing on "SNL," a source says.
So far, NBC has only confirmed that former "SNL" regular Amy Poehler would be hosting the season premiere Sept. 25.
"Breaking Bad's" Bryan Cranston is slated for Oct. 2, he said on a radio show. It was confirmed exclusively to THR in August that "Glee's" Jane Lynch would be taking the helm in October.
"The Town," directed by Ben Affleck, is slated to earn $14-$16 million through Sunday, The Hollywood Reporter estimates. Affleck's feature helming debut, 2007's "Gone Baby Gone," bagged $5.5 million in first-frame loot.
Sony's Teen comedy "Easy A" is expected to win the box-office war this weekend with $18-$20 million in earnings. It was produced for just $8 million.
