Joni Mitchell Hospitalized After She Was Found Unconscious
The legendary singer-songwriter was taken to intensive care Tuesday.
Joni Mitchell was taken to a hospital Tuesday, following a 911 call from her Los Angeles home.
The 71-year-old singer-songwriter's official website confirmed that she was found unconscious in her home and was taken to the hospital in an ambulance, regaining consciousness during the ride.
"She is currently in intensive care undergoing tests and is awake and in good spirits," read a message posted at 9:57 p.m. PT on Tuesday. "Light a candle and sing a song — let's all send good wishes her way."
A previous post on her site had confirmed that the singer, known for hits "Big Yellow Taxi" and "Both Sides, Now," had been hospitalized.
