Joni Mitchell Is "Making Good Progress" in Her Recovery, Says Judy Collins
The folk singer is recovering from an aneurysm.
It's been 50 years since her cover of Joni Mitchell's "Both Sides, Now," but Judy Collins still is keeping an eye on Mitchell. The 76-year-old Seattle native posted an update on Mitchell's health on her Facebook page Wednesday.
Mitchell suffered from a brain aneurysm in March of this year and was found unconscious in her L.A. residence. Updates on her health have been occasional, but hopeful for a full recovery. Collins' post also was referenced on the official Joni Mitchell website with the caption: "Official news about Joni is as hard for us to get as it is for anybody else. But Judy Collins has recently posted the following encouraging note to her Facebook page."

Collins' most recent album, Strangers Again, debuted at No. 77 on the Billboard 200. “Both Sides, Now” is Collins’ highest-charting single on the Billboard Hot 100, reaching No. 8 in 1968. Collins' lone Grammy win was for best folk performance for her cover.
