Josh Sabarra tapped for Lifetime PR

Named senior vp corporate communications and publicity

Josh Sabarra has been named senior vp corporate communications and publicity at Lifetime Networks, based in Los Angeles.

Sabarra most recently was with New Line Home Entertainment, serving as senior vp marketing communications and publicity. There, his responsibilities included publicizing and marketing home entertainment releases and liaising with New Line’s theatrical department to integrate PR activities on such films as “The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King,” “The Notebook,” “Wedding Crashers” and “Hairspray.”

Sabarra also has held positions at Miramax Films, Warner Home Video and Buena Vista Pictures Marketing.

At Lifetime, he will lead the team responsible for publicizing all programming, properties and initiatives and will oversee talent relations.
