Joy Behar Slams Rush Limbaugh, Bill Cosby, Bill O'Reilly and Al Gore in Multiple Radio Appearances
The former 'The View' host calls Limbaugh a "racist" and Cosby "not funny"
During multiple appearances Monday on Sirius XM Radio, former co-host of The View Joy Behar slammed Rush Limbaugh as a “racist," dismissed Bill Cosby as “not funny,” Al Gore as “boring” and Bill O’Reilly as “shameless."
Behar was on the Opie with Jim Norton show when she attacked Limbaugh, Cosby and Gore, whom she once worked for when the former vp co-owned Current TV. She was on the Howard Stern Show when she criticized O’Reilly.
Speaking with Jim Norton, who replaced Anthony Cumia after Sirius XM fired the latter for allegedly racist tweets, Behar said Limbaugh “says plenty of racist s**t” and accused him of calling President Barack Obama a “magic negro” to insult blacks.
Behar’s reference was to a parody song from Limbaugh-show regular, Paul Shanklin, who recorded the bit of satire based on an article in the Los Angeles Times in 2007 headlined “Obama the Magic Negro.” Shanklin’s song, Barack the Magic Negro, is sung to the tune of Puff the Magic Dragon in a voice impersonating MSNBC host Al Sharpton.

While Norton attempts to defend Limbaugh by suggesting “it’s probably just a sarcastic way of looking at the way liberals idolize Obama,” Behar was having none of it. “It’s annoying to African-Americans to be called negroes,” she said. “That’s why I think he’s a racist, because he knows it’s going to upset African-American people.”
Prior to opining about Limbaugh, Behar insinuated that she believes the rape allegations against Cosby. “If it walks like a duck and it quacks like a duck, it’s a duck,” she said. “The main fault with Bill Cosby is that he’s not funny. That’s his problem.”
Before her segment ended, she also called Gore “boring” and said “we all lost our jobs because that asshole sold the station to Al Jazeera.”
On the same day on Howard Stern’s show, Behar reminisced about the time she and Whoopi Goldberg walked out on O’Reilly when he was a guest on The View.
“I was shocked by that,” Stern said. “Why walk off your own show if he’s a gust on the show? Just don’t have them on.”
Behar said she wasn’t the one who booked O’Reilly, and that if it were up to her he would not have been on the show to begin with, but also that she does not regret walking out on the popular Fox News Channel host.
“I don’t find him amusing in any way. I don’t find him interesting,” Behar told Stern. “He’s shameless. He’s shameless. He doesn’t give a s**t. You walk off, you smack him, you tell him he’s an asshole, he doesn’t care.”
She added that The View co-creator Barbara Walters “was pissed” about the incident, until she saw that it generated ratings and publicity for the show.
“Everything is forgiven when you get ratings,” Stern said.
