'Judge Ross' to Rule for Two More Seasons
Court will remain in session for at least two more seasons for Judge Kevin Ross.
Entertainment Studios on Monday announced it has renewed the first run syndicated show America’s Court With Judge Ross for a third and fourth season, according to Byron Allen, CEO of Entertainment Studios.
The show is cleared to air in 95 percent of U.S. TV homes, according to the syndicator. That is a significant improvement from its first year when it struggled to clear half the country. Among the station groups that carry the show are CBS O&O’s, Belo, Gannett, Weigel, Tribune, Sinclair, Roberts, Newport, Meredith, Entravision and Cox.
Ross was an actual judge before he switched to TV. He served eight years as a prosecutor and seven years as a Superior Court judge in California, handling everything from small claims to murder cases. “Judge Ross is an extraordinary talent,” said Allen, “and this show is simply unstoppable.”
