Judy Davis to reprise 'Starter Wife' role
EmptyJudy Davis is set to reprise her role in USA Network's upcoming series "The Starter Wife," starring Debra Messing as a newly divorced mother.
Bonnie Hammer, the newly promoted NBC Universal cable entertainment/cable studios president, made the announcement Thursday night at USA's L.A. upfront presentation to advertisers at Craft restaurant in Century City.
Davis won a supporting actress Emmy last year for her role as Joan McAllister, one of Molly Kagan's (Messing) closest friends, in "Starter Wife," which originally aired as a miniseries last summer.
USA ordered "Wife" to series in October, greenlighting 10 episodes focusing on Molly's post-divorce adventures.
