Besides making a slew of movies, Julia Roberts has improved people's lives — nine women in particular, all of whom are also named Julia Roberts.

The Secret in Their Eyes star virtually met these nine women during Thursday's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and admitted she was hesitant to do so. "I guess I'm self-centered and it never occurred to me that anyone else would be Julia Roberts," she joked. "I didn't think that no one would be, I just never thought about it."

However, these women — one with a similar laugh — have been thinking about her, and thanked her for the many perks of sharing a name with a noted actress. One woman from Arizona recalled checking in at a Palm Springs hotel for a vacation: "My room was awesome! It was the best room!"

Another from Toronto said she attended an eight-week yoga retreat in an ashram in India, during which "nobody called me Julia, they called me Eat, Pray, Love," she explained. "Thank you so much for this beautiful life!"

When a Texas woman said she often has to verify her identity when making purchases, the actress recalled that no cashier clerks questioned when a 57-year-old used her credit cards upon stealing her wallet. The star also advised that to those who ask for further identification, instead of pulling out a driver's license, "say, 'I'll call Richard Gere, and he will tell you!'"
