Julia Stiles and America Ferrera to Star in Indie Comedy 'It's a Disaster'
Todd Berger to direct feature about an ill-fated brunch.
Julia Stiles, who has received her first Emmy nomination for her guest-starring role in Showtime's Dexter, will star opposite America Ferrera in the indie film It's a Disaster.

A comedy about four couples who meet for Sunday brunch only to discover they are stuck in a house together as the world may be about to end is being written and directed by Todd Berger for Vacationeer Prods.
Kevin M. Brennan, Jeff Grace, Blaise Miller, and Todd Berger of the comedy troupe The Vacationeers will also star in the film, set to shoot in Los Angeles in early fall.
Berger also wrote and directed The Vacationeers’ first feature film, The Scenesters, which won the Rosebud Award at the 2010 Slamdance Film Festival.
Stiles is repped by ICM and Untitled Entertainment. Ferrera, herself an Emmy winner as best comedy series actress for Ugly Betty, is repped by ICM, Authentic and attorney Jodi Peikoff.
