Julianne Moore has been tapped as the face of Talbots' spring 2011 campaign, People.com reported.
"Julianne Moore represents a timeless, ageless, natural American beauty that this brand has always represented," Talbots chief creative officer Michael Smaldone said in statement. "The fortyish woman embodies a confidence and strength that comes with experience.
"Being 'fortyish' also represents a time in her life, that she buys what she respects, wears only what she loves and covets the things that become signatures of her personal style. Our brand's vision is Tradition Transformed -- Ms. Moore is just that to us."
Moore will be featured in Talbots' store windows and catalog along with the spring issues of magazines.
