Justin Bieber Graduates High School in Native Ontario
The 18-year-old did not attend the commencement ceremony, but his name was included in the program for the St. Michael Catholic Secondary School.
Justin Bieber has added one more accolade to his growing resume: high school graduate.
The 18-year-old quietly finished all of his required coursework to become an official member of the class of 2012 at St. Michael Catholic Secondary School in his native Stratford, Ontario. Though Bieber was not on hand for the commencement ceremony, Canadian news service QMI reports, his name was featured in the program.

“We are very proud of Justin and all the other 192 graduates of St. Michael school, however, we’re not at liberty to discuss any personal plans or information about Justin or any other graduate,” principal Tim Doherty told QMI.
While his classmates head off to college and into the work force, Justin’s next step will include another trek across the U.S. and Canada to promote his newly released album, Believe. Bieber’s North American tour kicks off Sept. 29 and has him stopping at venues including the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Madison Square Garden in New York and Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario.
On Monday, instead of addressing his latest accomplishment, Bieber teased his Twitter followers with news of newly added Believe tour dates, which will take the pop star across the globe.
“I guess if it happened quietly it’s because Justin chose to keep aspects of his education quiet,” said superintendent Dan Parr.
Bieber reportedly finished his required courses through e-learning, though the specific classes he took remains classified. St. Michael requires students to complete 30 credits, including 16 mandatory courses, in order to graduate.
