Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel Wedding Video Featuring Homeless Draws Criticism (Video)

A video made in honor of the fairy-tale Italian wedding of Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake is being heavily criticized for its insensitivity to the homeless. [UPDATED: Timberlake responds to the video.]

As reported by Gawker, the video runs 8 minutes, 30 seconds and was screened at the extravagant nuptials, held at the Borgo Egnazia resort in Puglia at a rumored cost of $6.5 million. A 20-second excerpt from the video has been posted to the website.

"Greetings from Your Hollywood Friends Who Just Couldn't Make It," the opening title card reads. What follows is a series of greetings from what appear to be homeless people living in the Los Angeles area.

"Justin and Jessica, I haven't seen you for a long time," one man says. "I hope the wedding goes fine for you. My gift is in the mail."

A voice off-camera prompts the well-wishers, at one point telling a shirtless man not to put his clothes back on. "You're going to put your shirt on?" the man asks. "Nah. I think you should go skins."

The video was the work of Timberlake's friend and real estate agent Justin Huchel, according to Gawker.

An attorney for Huchel threatened a lawsuit when approached for comment. The letter since has been posted to the website.

The wedding was attended by 100 guests, including Jimmy Fallon, Andy Samberg and Timbaland.

An e-mail seeking comment from a rep for the couple was not immediately answered.
