TCA 2012: MTV Renews 'Snooki & JWoww' for Second Season

After rumors circulated online earlier this month, Jenni Farley, aka JWOWW, officially announced her engagement to beau Roger Mathews via a splashy InTouch photo spread showcasing her giant cushion cut diamond sparkler, which is surrounded by a border of smaller stones.

"It's more than I ever expected," JWOWW told the magazine. "Roger's not an average-looking guy, he's huge: his personality, his size [6'4"]. So I always said, 'I want my ring like you — big! The bigger the better!' "

Earlier this summer, the reality star told The Hollywood Reporter that she was eagerly anticipating an “enormous ring."

“I don’t concern myself with getting married anytime soon, but I would like an enormous ring,” she said, receiving laughs from Mathews. “I just would like it sooner than later.”

“Not the first time I’ve heard that,” he replied.

Mathews popped the question with cameras rolling during a skydiving session.

"I look over and see a hand-written sign: 'Jenni, will you ... ' and then I turned to him and freaked out," the bride-to-be told In Touch. "The whole time I'm screaming, 'What are you doing? What's going on? He's like, 'I want to spend the rest of my life with you! Will you allow me to?' "

Farley and Mathews began dating while filming season three of Jersey Shore. The series' sixth and final season is slated to debut on Oct. 4.

Recently, fans got an inside look at the couple’s relationship on the spinoff series Snooki & JWOWW, which chronicled Snooki’s engagement and first trimester of pregnancy. The show was renewed for a second season and filming is currently underway.
