Kanye West makes up with 'SNL'

Dissed show in song, but will perform next season
First, Kanye West made amends with Taylor Swift. Now, he's making up with "Saturday Night Live."

After the NBC sketch comedy skewered the rapper in an opening monologue for his MTV VMA-Taylor Swift run-in, West penned lyrics for his recent single "Power" : "F**k SNL and the whole cast / Tell 'em Yeezy said they can kiss my whole a*s…"
But NBC confirmed Monday that West will be the musical guest on the October 2 episode, hosted by "Breaking Bad" star Bryan Cranston. West last appeared on the show in December 2008.





Also slated for his season: Jane Lynch, as first revealed by The Hollywood Reporter, Amy Poehler, Katy Perry and Bruno Mars.
