Kate Beckinsale to Star in Marc Webb's 'The Only Living Boy in New York' (Exclusive)
Callum Turner is toplining the Amazon Studios feature.
Kate Beckinsale has closed a deal to join the cast of The Only Living Boy in New York, the drama Marc Webb is directing for Amazon Studios.
The feature is casting up ahead of its early October start and already sees Callum Turner, Kiersey Clemons and Jeff Bridges on the call sheet.
Written by Allan Loeb, Only Living Boy centers on a recent college graduate (Turner) who begins a relationship with his father's mistress after finding out about their affair.
Beckinsale will play the mistress, who finds the son charming and has no intention of leaving the family’s life.
Albert Berger and Ron Yerxa are producing the feature, which will begin shooting in early October.
The actress was recently seen in Love & Friendship, Whit Stillman’s adaptation of the Jane Austen story Lady Susan, and reprises her role of action heroine Selene in Underworld: Blood Wars, the next installment in the film franchise, set for release in January.
Beckinsale is repped by UTA and Hansen Jacobson.
