Kate Hudson's Father Writing Tell-All Book
Bill Hudson's "2 Versions: The Other Side of Fame and Family" will detail his marriages to Goldie Hawn and Cindy Williams and "alienation" from Kate and her brother, Oliver.
Kate Hudson's father is apparently ready to tell all about his famous family.
Bill Hudson announced on his website that he's writing a book titled 2 Versions: The Other Side of Fame and Family about his life as a "teen idol" -- he was part of the 1970s musical group the Hudson Brothers -- as well as his marriages to Kate's mom, Goldie Hawn, and Laverne & Shirley star Cindy Williams.

In addition, he intends to detail his "alienation" from his two children with Hawn: Kate and her brother, Oliver.
"Life in the spotlight is not without its consequences, and the Hudson family was no exception," a post on TheBillHudson.com reads.
"His book also talks about how parents can often become alienated from their children when they don't have primary custody," the post continues. "Hopefully, at some point, this family will be able to have a healthy adult relationship before it's too late."

Bill Hudson was married to Hawn from 1976-80 and to Williams from 1982-2000. He also has two children with Williams.
Bill Hudson has been critical of Kate in the past.
"I love Kate, but I think she has been contrived and destructive with me and with her other brothers and sisters," he told RadarOnline.com in January. "She has done stuff which is just awful. She is a spoiled brat in my eyes."
