'Treme' Star Edwina Findley Weds, Kate Middleton Expecting: Hitched, Hatched, Hired

FINDLEY-DICKERSON WEDDING
Treme star Edwina Findley married advertising executive Kelvin Dickerson on Nov. 17 at the Christian Cultural Center in Brooklyn, followed by a reception at Taj in Manhattan. They posed on a step-and-repeat in front of a mock movie poster titled "The Wedding Day," featuring a photo of the couple. Findley, sporting a dress by Allure Couture and accessories by Badgley Mischka, became engaged to Dickerson in October 2011.
WEDDINGS
Michelle Perez, a post coordinator at Moviola, married Todd Hawkins, a senior systems engineer at 20th Century Fox, on Nov. 23 at the Wynn hotel in Las Vegas in front of 40 guests. The couple will honeymoon in Europe in the summer.
ENGAGEMENTS
Dana Borowitz, an agent in UTA's book department, and Arthur Spector, vp development at Gil Netter Productions, became engaged Nov. 22 at Las Ventanas al Paraiso in Los Cabos, Mexico. The couple, who met as assistants at the agency, plan to wed in 2013.
BIRTHS
Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, and husband Prince William are expecting their first child. "The Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, the Prince of Wales, the Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Harry and members of both families are delighted with the news," read a Dec. 3 statement from Clarence House.
Tucker Tooley, president of Relativity Media, and wife Tessa, West Coast bureau chief at Self magazine, welcomed son Tucker Benson Tooley on Nov. 23 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Sydnee Rimes, senior manager of current at ABC Studios, and husband Josh Rimes, an executive at Michael Eisner's The Tornante Co., welcomed daughter Sophie Madeline Rimes on Nov. 16.
Actor-director Fred Savage and wife Jennifer Lynn Stone welcomed a son (they were still deciding on a name at press time). He joins brother Oliver, 6, and sister Lily, 4.

20th Century Fox TV's Stephanie Herman was promoted to vp casting Dec. 3.
Joe Riccitelli was appointed executive vp and GM of RCA Records on Nov. 28.
NBCUniversal upped Lenore Moritz to vp communications, digital and integrated media on Nov. 28.
BMI promoted Ray Yee to assistant vp film and TV relations on Nov. 26.
Brian Grazer will receive the Abe Burrows Entertainment Award during the 21st annual Alzheimer's Association fundraising gala "A Night at Sardi's" at the Beverly Hilton on March 20.
DEATHS
Pat Renella, a suave character actor who played the mobster killed by Steve McQueen in the waning moments of the 1968 classic Bullitt, died Nov. 9 at Cedars-Sinai after suffering from a chronic illness. He was 83.
Mel Shaw, an artist and writer who contributed to such Disney animation classics as Bambi, Fantasia and The Lion King, died Nov. 22 of congestive heart failure at Woodland Care Center in Reseda, Calif. He was 97.
Film and TV editor Dann Cahn died Nov. 21 at his Los Angeles home. Cahn, who worked on the sitcom I Love Lucy for each of its six seasons, was 89.
Esme Chandlee, a publicist who represented Clark Gable, Tom Selleck and dozens of others during a 60-plus-year career, died in her sleep in her Hollywood Hills home Nov. 24. She was 94.
Don Rhymer, a screenwriter behind the films Rio and Big Momma's House and the sitcom Evening Shade, died Nov. 28 of cancer in Los Angeles. He was 51.
