Kate Moss Touts Vintage-Inspired Bunny Suit for Playboy's Anniversary Issue
The British supermodel’s full-frontal pictorial will celebrate the magazine's 60th year.
Sure, the small-waisted silhouettes of the 1950s have been back in style for a while now – thanks largely in part to Mad Men’s costume designer Janie Bryant – but Playboy has finally dusted off its classic black bunny ears, French cuff links and puffy white tail for none other than Kate Moss.
The Hugh Hefner-led magazine released a preview photo of the British supermodel’s nostalgic pictorial ahead of its 60th-anniversary January/February 2014 issue.
"She’s a worldwide celebrity and iconic and crosses the boundaries from sexual imagery to upscale modeling," Hefner told the Los Angeles Times of Moss in September. "It’s a natural for us."
Moss got down on all fours for fashion photographers Marcus Pigott and Mert Atlas, with styling by W magazine’s Alex White. The vintage-inspired photo will run on the "Next Month" page of the magazine's December 2013 issue, which hits newsstands Friday.
But if Moss’ toned calves and pelvic-area peek (plus a bit of sideboob to boot) aren’t enough skin for a Playboy pictorial, don’t fret – as a holiday treat, the anniversary issue will also include full-frontal shots of the 39-year-old supermodel. No word yet on whether the bunny ears and cuff links accessorize her birthday suit in the shoot.
