Freida Pinto and Jimmy Smits also are set for the event.

At the 2015 Academy Nicholl Fellowships Screenwriting Awards Presentation & Live Read, Kathy Baker and O'Shea Jackson Jr. will perform live reads of select scenes from five winning screenplays written by this year's Academy Nicholls fellows.

Alongside Baker and Jackson, Freida Pinto and Jimmy Smits will also perform at the event.

The event will be directed by Rodrigo Garcia and produced by Julie Lynn, the team behind the movie Albert Nobbs, who are both returning for the third year in a row.

Baker recently appeared in the romantic drama Age of Adalaine and Jackson made his acting debut in the N.W.A biopic Straight Outta Compton, where he portrayed his real-life father, rapper-actor Ice Cube.

Pinto is best known for her role in Slumdog Millionaire and will be seen in the Andy Serkis-helmed Jungle Book: Origins, due out in 2017. Smits' credits include Revenge of the Sith and The West Wing.

The program will be presented by producer Stephanie Allain and screenwriters Billy Ray, Dana Stevens, Robin Swicord and Tyger Williams.

Last month five screenwriters were selected as winners of the 2015 Academy Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting competition out of 7,442 entries.

The 2015 Academy Nicholl Fellowships Screenwriting Awards Presentation & Live Read will take place at the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills on Nov. 4.
