Katie Price starts production company
Model in business with ex-ITV exec Mark WagmanLONDON -- Tales of her marriage breakup and party-girl exploits are regular tabloid fodder, and the past five years of her life have been documented by series after series of reality TV. Now Katie Price -- otherwise known as the glamour model Jordan -- has launched an independent production company with former ITV talent executive Mark Wagman, it was announced Wednesday.
Price, who recently signed with CAA, will be co-founder of Pricey Media, which plans to develop her career across genres. The news came as Pricey Media signed its first co-production with ITV Studios to produce "What Katie Did Next," allowing viewers intimate access to the reality TV star and her children in the aftermath of her split from chart-topping singer Peter Andre.
The couple met on the set of ITV show "I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here!" and have been the subject of a string of fly-on-the-wall documentaries.
Andre announced this month that he would tell his side of the story in a masterclass at the Edinburgh International Television Festival, as part of a masterclass on how to build a media brand.
