Katy Perry to Perform at 2017 Brit Awards
The performance at The O2 Arena in London will mark her U.K. TV debut.
Katy Perry is bringing "Chained to the Rhythm" to the Brit Awards later this month, it was announced Monday.
After the singer performed the live debut of her new Skip Marley-featuring track Sunday at the Grammy Awards, her newly announced Feb. 22 performance at The O2 Arena in London will mark her U.K. TV debut. It will also be her first live U.K. appearance in three years.
"I'm excited to come back to one of my favorite countries, where most of my favorite musical influences come from," Perry said in a statement. "After three years, I'm excited to return to the Brits stage to kick off a new era of purposeful pop."
Perry joins a lineup that includes Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars, The 1975, Little Mix, Robbie Williams, Emeli Sandé and Skepta.
On Twitter, Perry teased the performance as the "2nd chapter" of "Chained to the Rhythm."
