Katy Perry Is Wearing Prada on the Met Gala 2016 Red Carpet
The 'Firework' singer lit up the red carpet.
Fashion risk-taker Katy Perry stepped out in an embellished Prada gown with a striking beauty look on the red carpet Monday for the Met Ball at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. This year's theme celebrates the museum's Costume Institute exhibition "Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology," which explores the intersection of haute couture and machine-made fashion.
At last year's Met Ball, Perry wore a black graffitied Moschino gown, which became subject to a lawsuit after the graffiti artist accused the Italian brand and its creative director, Jeremy Scott, of plagiarizing his mural Vandal Eyes.
Perry recently wowed on the red carpet and onstage at the 2016 ACM Awards, where she channeled her inner Dolly Parton for a duet with the iconic country songstress.
