Kelly Clarkson, Flo Rida Set to Perform at 2012 MuchMusic Video Awards

The duo join previously announced acts Justin Bieber, LMFAO and Katy Perry on the schedule for the Canadian music kudos to be held June 20 in Toronto.

TORONTO – American Idol’s Kelly Clarkson and Flo Rida are joining Justin Bieber, co-hosts LMFAO and Katy Perry as performers at the 2012 MuchMusic Video Awards.

Clarkson, the Grammy-winning diva, and hip-hop star Flo Rida were added Tuesday to the Canadian music video awards talent lineup, as was breakthrough UK artist Ed Sheeran and Canadian rockers Hedley.

MMVA 2012 organizers earlier announced Bieber protégé Carly Rae Jepsen, Nelly Furtado and Vancouver punk/emo rock band Marianas Trench as performers.

The kudosfest will air Sunday, June 17 on MuchMusic in Canada and Fuse in the U.S. market.
