On the day of Chanel's spring 2016 fashion show, Vogue Paris showed up at Kendall Jenner’s hotel room at 6:30 a.m. with cameras in tow. The rare look at Jenner’s life from the inside provided insight as to what it’s really like to be the most sought-after model in the world right now, with a focus on her hectic days during fashion week.

Jenner tells the magazine that walking in Chanel was always her goal. She reflects, "I remember my first season going to [Chanel's] casting and thinking 'I'm not getting Chanel, this is impossible.' " Jenner’s most recent walk for the fashion house was her seventh.

She also goes on to lament about her very first legitimate show, for Marc Jacobs. She expressed her gratitude to the designer by saying, “I don’t think I’d be where I am if Marc didn’t accept me like he did. For the show, I had a wig on and bleached eyebrows, you couldn't even tell it looked like me. I looked kind of like an alien and I was naked. It was the moment where I could say I'm really doing this."

To hear more about Jenner’s start in the modeling industry and the nomadic life of a model and how she copes with always being on the road, watch the video from Vogue Paris below. And given that today is Jenner’s 20th birthday, there's no time like the present.
