Kevin Hart Sends Amy Schumer "Hostile Text" Before She Hosts 'SNL'
"If you get nervous during your monologue just tell the audience that you know me. I promise it will help," Hart encouragingly texted Schumer.
Kevin Hart encouraged Amy Schumer, prior to her hosting tonight's Saturday Night Live, with a "hostile text" on Saturday morning.
Schumer, who won her first Emmy for outstanding variety sketch series on Sept. 20, posted a photo on Twitter of a text message she received from Hart on Saturday morning with the sarcastic caption "hostile text." Hart's 11:26 a.m. text reads, "Hey I know your hosting SNL tonight....If you get nervous during your monologue just tell the audience that you know me. I promise it will help."
The text continued, "Or you can FaceTime me but I probably wouldn't be able to pick up because I'm busy doing stuff. Just spit balling here...I'm trying to help...you know what f— it...you will be fine...I hope...God Bless...K Hart Out."
This Saturday will be the first time the Inside Amy Schumer star hosts SNL; Hart hosted on Jan. 17.
Schumer's episode of Saturday Night Live airs Saturday at 11:30 p.m. on NBC, with musical guest The Weeknd.
