Kim Kardashian Wedding: Bride-to-Be Is 'Totally Calm' About Nuptials, TV Special
The reality TV star is trying the knot Saturday in Montecito, Calif.
Kim Kardashian exchanges "I do's" with New Jersey Nets star Kris Humphries on Saturday and unlike some brides, she's cool and collected about the big day.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star told E! Online that she's been "really calm" about the wedding because she did all of her preparations in advance, "Everyone says that you freak out, but I think all my freak-out moments happened at the beginning when we decided to get married this summer. That's when you're like, 'When and where?!' So once all those decisions were made."

The nuptials will be shown in an E! special in October called Kim's Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event. The two-part program will go inside the event, from the wedding planning to the parties to the couple's actual wedding, taking place in Montecito, Calif.
Kardashian and the NBA player became engaged earlier this year after six months of dating. Vera Wang has designed Kardashian's wedding gown; the family friend also designed the dress for sister Khloe when she wed basketball player Lamar Odom in 2009.

Kardashian recently flew to Wang's New York boutique for a dress fitting. She tells E! she was back on a plane to L.A. within two hours of the appointment, "I took the red-eye at midnight, landed at eight in the morning in New York, ran to Vera Wang for a dress fitting at 10 a.m., then left at noon on another flight out. I spent like eleven hours on a plane just to spend three hours in New York."
The Kardashian wedding special airs Oct. 9 and 10.
