Kim Kardashian Wedding Cheat Sheet: Everything You Need to Know
What the bride wore, her vows to Kris Humphries, their first dance – all the details from her Montecito nuptials.
Kim Kardashian wed New Jersey Nets forward Kris Humphries on an 11-acre estate in Montecito on Saturday. Here are a few, key bullet points without reading all the 10,000 stories that hit the Web and airwaves over the weekend.
Kardashian's wedding was estimated to cost $500,000 -- as The Hollywood Reporter revealed -- but the cost was largely offset with freebies, including a $20,000 Vera Wang gown.
Kardashian also sold her wedding photos to People magazine for $1.5 million. The story and photos will appear in the Sept. 5 issue of the magazine, and the nuptials will be chronicled in a four-hour, two-night extravaganza on E! to air Oct. 9 and 10. Ryan Seacrest Tweeted out a sneak peek over the weekend.
It was a family affair, with big sis Kourtney's son Mason Disick, 2, serving as ringbearer, Khloe and Kourtney serving as co amirs of honor and little sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner and the groom's sister, Kaela Humphries, serving as bridesmaids.
Humphries and Kim wrote their own vows -- which touched upon Kardashian's career. "Kris talked about how he loved Kim's hustle and work ethic," a source told Us Weekly. "They also talked about all the things they loved about one another." THR has reported the Kardashians earned $65 million last year.
The Hollywood Reporter has learned that the guest list included two executives from E!'s original programming and series development department -- senior vp Damla Dogan and vp Jason Sarlanis -- as well as E! PR exec John Rizzotti; famed attorney Howard Weitzman; WME's Lance Klein and Ivo Fisher; APA's Brian Dow; Jason Binn, chairman and founder of magazine publisher Niche Media; talent manager and music executive-turned-movie/Broadway producer Freddy DeMann; PMK/BNC's Jill Fritzo; attorney Robert Shapiro, who defended O.J. Simpson alongside Kardashian's late father, Robert Kardashian; and former talent manager Jeff Wald.
Other guests included Today co-host Kathie Lee Gifford, Demi Lovato, Eva Longoria, Lindsay Lohan, recording artist/producer Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, Fox News Channel's Greta Van Susteren, Ryan Seacrest and Julianne Hough, Brody Jenner (Kardashian's stepbrother) and Avril Lavigne, Mario Lopez, Ciara, Girls Gone Wild mastermind Joe Francis, George Lopez, tennis stars Venus and Serena Williams and TV personalities Lara Spencer and Maria Menounos, former NBA star Scottie Pippen, former boxing champ Sugar Ray Leonard.
Kim wore three dresses. After the ceremony, she slipped into a form-fitting ivory gown for the reception, and then later changed into another dress. Kendall, Kylie and Khloe changed into tracksuits at the reception, where Earth, Wind and Fire performed, Robin Thicke sang "Angels" for their first dance and DJ Cassidy spun.
They'll hold another reception in NYC on Aug. 31, thrown by Niche Media founder Jason Binn and celebrity wedding planner Colin Cowie.
