Kim Kardashian's Engagement to Be Filmed for TV
Kim Kardashian has some new footage for her E! reality show.
The E! reality star has announced her engagement to New Jersey Nets forward Kris Humphries on the new cover of People. "I didn't expect this at all," she tells the magazine of the surprise proposal. "I was in such shock. I never thought it would happen at home, and I never thought now."
Though E! has no comment, a source tells THR, “Of course,” all the romantic details will be played out in front of the camera. (The love lives of Kim’s sisters, Kourtney and Khloe, have been extensively filmed. Khloe even got her own show based on her marriage to LA Laker Lamar Odom.)
Can’t wait that long? Kardashian dishes some details in People.
She says Humphries popped the question with a custom-designed, 20.5-carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond sparkler; they all celebrated with an intimate family celebration organized by Kardashian matriarch, Kris Jenner.
"Kris really didn't want a big celebration, but he had jokingly told my mom he'd be fine if there were mini-horses there," Kardashian says. "Later that night at the party, my mom brought out two mini-horses, covered in glitter, for us! It was hysterical!"
The new season of E!'s Keeping Up With the Kardashian airs June 12 at 10/9c.
