Kimberly Snyder upped at Kodak

Kimberly Snyder has been promoted to president and GM of Eastman Kodak's entertainment imaging unit.

Since 2005, she has served as GM of EI's image-capture business. In her new role, Snyder will be responsible for all aspects of Kodak's business with the motion picture and television industry.

Snyder will report to Mary Jane Hellyar, president of Kodak's film, photofinishing and entertainment group and an executive vp of the company. Before Snyder's appointment, Hellyar had served as the acting president of EI for the past 15 months.

Snyder joined Kodak in 1984 and in 1998 moved into EI, where she has held positions in finance, sales and management.

EI, which had revenue of $1.1 billion in 2007, includes the company's motion picture film business as well as digital services with postproduction offered by its LaserPacific subsidiary, visual effects provided by its Cinesite subsidiary and digital cinema.
